What we ask, and what we will not add.

Forward Kelowna asks every candidate for mayor, council, and school board the same questions. The questions are public. The form is not. Every candidate gets their own link.

They can revise until October 16, 2026 at 6pm PT.

We publish the choice they picked and the words they wrote. We do not write a brief from ads, news, or comments. A brief, when it is written, is written only from the answers they submitted.

Some candidate pages also have an At the forums section: the candidate’s exact words from recorded candidate forums, transcribed by Forward Kelowna from the video, each with a link to that moment so you can hear it in context. We quote only passages where we are sure who is speaking and what they said, and we do not write a brief from them.

Each candidate page also has a separate Background section about the candidate’s work and political history. Forward Kelowna compiles it from public sources such as news reports, official election results, and campaign websites. Every one is written with the same instructions, lists its sources, and leaves out positions.
